Periodontal Treatment
There is excellent scientific evidence that periodontal treatment may prevent the progression of periodontal bone loss and associated tooth loss. For most patients non-surgical periodontal treatment is succicient to result in the resolution of the periodontal infection, however for some patients additional surgical periodontal treatment is of benefit. Long term regular maintenance care is essential for successful periodontal treatment.
Implant Treatment
Implants are an excellent treatment option for replacing missing teeth or securing dentures.
Implant treatment is divided into five stages:
1. Assessment for suitability for dental implant treatment.
2. Implant placement surgery
3. Implant second stage surgery
4. Implant restoration
5. Maintenance care
